We had the absolute pleasure of catching up with Bombay girl and ace ‘YouTube’ star Aanam Chashmawala, Founder and Creative Director of WhatWhenWear. Widely known as Aanam C on social media, she is one of the top fashion, lifestyle, travel and beauty influencer’s in the country. She has bagged the title of Cosmopolitan Best Beauty Blogger in the year (2018) including Ms. Bombay Times Fresh Face amongst other pageant titles.
Aanam recently stayed with us at The Acron Waterfront Resort in Goa, a plush boutique resort by Acron Group of Hotels at an impeccable location nuzzled on the banks of the Baga River right where it weaves into the Arabian Sea.
Known for its yellow, white and blue exteriors, this property is the perfect spot to unwind and relax. It is far removed from the city noise yet close enough to all the action. Aanam along with her husband Geraard visited the property for the very first time six years ago in 2015 and their dotting love towards this property has only multiplied ever since.
We stayed at Acron Waterfront Resort six years ago and coming back to this place brings back so many fond memories. This time we were put up in this simplistically spacious 4 BHK penthouse suite which happens to be part of this beautiful resort; the best area being the living room. You can also enjoy the tranquil swimming pool, temperature controlled jacuzzi and a whole host of amenities on this property.
Acron Waterfront Resort in Baga is an oasis of calm if you’re looking for that quiet, peaceful beachside getaway with a local touch. The astounding location with over 120 metres of water frontage in the midst of Goa’s happening leisure Riviera makes it an exciting place to visit.
The location is at such a sweet spot. You get to be between the hustle and beauty of the North in just a few minutes in either direction. This property is a favourite because of how warm and kind all the staff here is!
For affairs of the stomach, guests can try out The River Restaurant which sits inside Acron Waterfront Resort. An interesting menu has been curated ranging from regional to international dishes for people with diverse palates. Another aspect at the resort is the personal attention by the Executive Chef and staff to make sure all guests are taken care of.
My love for seafood is immense so I teamed up with Chef Nitesh to cook us a Goan style Prawns Curry which turned out absolutely delicious. Doing this was way too much fun.”
With that, it’s a wrap!
P.S. Head on over to Aanam Chasmawala’s YouTube and Instagram to watch how much she enjoyed her trip to Goa and stay with us at #WaterfrontGoa
