The Location: Acron Waterfront Resort is tucked away discreetly at the far end of Baga beach, in a tiny lane along the river Baga. The hotel overlooks the river and the fishing boats. It is far removed from the cacophony of Baga beach, yet a short walk/drive away from all the action. The hotel is situated in a leafy lane and if you’re a discreet traveller, and like quiet neighborhoods and settings, you will surely like this resort.

The Pool: Isn’t it definitely worth your while to spend almost all your time in the pool? The massive infinity pool at Acron Waterfront Resort is its biggest aspect. The pool is situated such that its infinity end overlooks the Baga river and boats a nice, unobstructed ocean view from the side. There are loungers situated inside the pool and you can sip on some tantalizing cocktails at the sunken pool bar while witnessing the beautiful Baga sunrise and sunsets.

The Food: Acron Waterfront Resort takes its culinary agenda very seriously, food being a big plus point. An interesting menu has been curated at the resort by UK MasterChef Cyrus Todiwala, which is a generous mix of both Goan delicacies and Parsi dishes. Goan and Parsi food are both equally indulgent. Another aspect at the resort is the personal attention by Executive Chef George to make sure all guests are well fed. Forget about your diet when you’re here as you will be indulging in a feast at every meal.

The Ambience: Small boutique hotels are known for giving feels of discreet luxury. A smaller resort is usually preferred to a larger one with hundreds of guests and noisy swimming pools. The whole vibe at Acron Waterfront Resort lends itself perfectly to a discreet luxury traveller, with a nice unpretentious vibe. It is highly recommended to ask for a table by the river to enjoy evenings by the waterfront. At Acron’s Waterfront Resort the service standards are extremely high and so is the staff’s warmth and efficiency with the guests.
